Baba Bomani, aka the Watermelon man has been using hip-hop, poetry and multi-media disciplines to teach fun and informative workshops with all ages from kindergartners to graduate students for well over 15 years Bomani. Here you can find his hip-hop music for kids as well as teaching materials showing students the writing process through hip-hop!
BOSSDC's Tech Camp is funded by funded by the Office of Out of School Time Grants and Youth Outcomes (OST Office), a D.C. Government agency through a grant made by United Way of the National Capital Area. Participates must be a male or female resident of Washington, D.C and be between the ages of 8-14.

It’s summer camp for kids who love technology! Our campers take a video design tech course and a hip-hop writing course to explore technology. Enroll your child at no cost. Our two-week program does not include overnights or weekends. All Washington, D.C children between the ages of 8-14 are welcome regardless of their experience in tech and/or music. Meals and camp tee-shirts are provided. Come be a part of the tech and music community. Plus make lasting friendships.
Your child should join us for two weeks if there is an interest in any of the following;

• Learning to Code
